Cordial thanks to all speakers, poster presenters and participants for making DGA such a succesful and outstanding event! The organzing committe is greatly indebted to the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences who provided profound support and funding.
Almost 90 particpants from both the academia and the public authorities, as well as specialists of many different disciplines, such as archaeologists, geoscientists, computer scientists, and historians proved that the interdisciplinary topic of Digital Geoarchaeology was and is of broad scientific interest. The pluridisciplinary audience allowed for an intense dialogue between young researchers and some well-established working groups, along with undergraduates, PhD candidates and postodocs.
Feel free to download the official DGA – Book of abstracts, which includes all oral and poster contributions. Visual impressions from the conference and the workshop can be found in the respective galleries.
